projects _ glücksbilder
The work was conceptualised/designed as a series to spread around the world:
“Glücksbilder” as individual elements connecting continents.
„1000+1 Glücksbilder“ is a playful delivery of the many colours, forms and possibilities that “Glück” offers. „Glück“ means auspiciousness, bliss, felicity, fortune, good luck, luck, happiness, serendipity … … and together with the German word for picture (bild) give us the term „Glücksbild“ – a colourful work of energy, light and prosperity.
This work consists of individual modules (24x30cm) that can be combined and extended.
The individual pictures are numbered consecutively. The Glücksbilder series will also be available as large canvas works.
By 2008, the „Glücksbilder“ are spread around the world – in London, Dublin, Munich, Brussels, Florence, Rom, Zürich, Milan, Salamanca, Stockholm, Istanbul, Marakesh, Tarifa, Hamburg, Sydney, Wellington, Cape Town, Montreal, Zagreb, Rom, Bucharest, Kasachstan, Moscow, Boston and New York.
